Key Punching Officer

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the finance team in the smooth financial operations of the car rental business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily transactions including cash, bank, and customer receipts.
  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounting records.
  • Prepare and process invoices for rentals, late returns, fuel adjustments, and other charges.
  • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
  • Handle petty cash management and replenishment.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements regularly.
  • Keep record of car maintenance
  • Ensure timely deposit of cash and cheques into company accounts.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and tax purposes.
  • Assist with payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Comply with relevant tax laws (e.g., income tax, sales tax, withholding tax).
  • Support the finance team in budget preparation and expense control.
  • Liaise with the operations team to verify car rental records and billing accuracy

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
