The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the finance team in the smooth financial operations of the car rental business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily transactions including cash, bank, and customer receipts.
- Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices for rentals, late returns, fuel adjustments, and other charges.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
- Handle petty cash management and replenishment.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Keep record of car maintenance
- Ensure timely deposit of cash and cheques into company accounts.
- Maintain documentation for audits and tax purposes.
- Assist with payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
- Comply with relevant tax laws (e.g., income tax, sales tax, withholding tax).
- Support the finance team in budget preparation and expense control.
- Liaise with the operations team to verify car rental records and billing accuracy
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
