Responsibilities:

- Develop visually appealing designs for our fashion collections, considering factors such as garment construction, color theory, and fashion styling.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator to create detailed designs and patterns for our products.
- Collaborate with product management teams to understand design requirements and create designs that meet these needs.
- Sell your designs to internal stakeholders and ensure that they align with our business objectives.
- Work closely with the fashion retail team to develop designs that meet the needs of our customers.
- Operate sewing machines and other tools to create prototypes and samples.
- Consider the theatrical aspect of fashion and create designs that are both visually appealing and functional.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and fashion styles to ensure that our designs are always relevant and on-trend.

Skills:

- Proven experience in garment construction and fashion styling.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in fashion design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design software.
- Ability to manage multiple product lines and create designs that meet specific requirements.
- Excellent communication and sales skills to effectively present designs to internal stakeholders.
- Experience in the fashion retail industry and a deep understanding of its operations.
- Proficiency in sewing machine operation and other tools used in the design process.
- Familiarity with the theatrical aspect of fashion and the ability to create designs that meet this criteria.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs that drive business results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Los Angeles, CA 90023 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Los Angeles, CA 90023: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
