Kindergarten Teacher (Education Degree Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher with a strong educational background to inspire and nurture young learners. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating literacy, math, science, arts, and physical education.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, respect, and collaboration among students.
  • Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Monitor student progress through assessments, standardized testing, and informal observations; adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Provide individualized support and tutoring for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention strategies.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through behavior management techniques and proactive classroom management strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support each child's holistic development, including working with children with autism or other special needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson documentation; ensure compliance with educational policies and standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood or preschool settings.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administration.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education methodologies.
  • Ability to incorporate learning technology effectively into daily lessons.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or special education needs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in behavior management, tutoring, and working with diverse student populations.
