- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishwashing area, and equipment
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently
- Operate dishwashing machines safely and correctly
- Ensure proper segregation of waste and follow recycling procedures
- Clean kitchen floors, walls, counters, and storage areas
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies
- Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals and report shortages
- Follow hotel hygiene and safety standards (HACCP/Food Safety)
- Support chefs with basic tasks such as cleaning prep areas
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment damage to supervisor
- Follow daily cleaning checklists and schedules
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor
