Kitchen/Transportation Mgr

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen /Transport Manager to oversee our food preparation, kitchen maintenance, inventory, record keeping and supply ordering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of our vehicle ensuring timely delivery of school age children, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a fun energetic person with strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to children's health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective time management when preparing and serving meals to children.
• Manage the daily operations of transporting, which includes routine vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Lead and mentor school age children in age appropriate practices during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of meals served, menu adjustments, transportation activities, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Ordering and purchasing supplies needed to maintain the day to day operations of the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age with clear record and safe driving history.
• Strong knowledge of food sanitation & transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate children.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in using record keeping software.
• Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and implement improvements.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and vendors.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in food sanitation & management are a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
