ROLE OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Assist in product development for knitwear and denim, from idea to final sample approval.
• Conduct trend and market research to identify new silhouettes, fabrics, and styling opportunities.
• Coordinate fabric, yarn, and trim selection relevant to knitwear basics and denim essentials.
• Create and maintain basic CAD sketches and tech packs for sampling and production.
• Manage sampling timelines, fit trials, and revisions with internal and external teams.
• Visit mills and vendors to track sample status and resolve basic development challenges.
• Support costing discussions by providing material details, consumption inputs, and development insights.
• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth handover for launches.
• Maintain product documentation, sample libraries, and development trackers.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Knitwear Design, Textile Design, or related fields.
• 3–6 years of experience in apparel product development, preferably in knitwear or denim.
• Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, knit structures, and denim washes.
• Comfortable creating CADs, tech packs, and coordinating fit samples.
• Hands-on experience working with vendors, mills, and sampling units.
• Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple developments simultaneously with clear timelines.
