Lab Instructor - Engineering (Electrical / Electronics)

Position Summary

To provide effective instruction and assessment to Electrical / Electronics Diploma level courses and to maintain HCT laboratories and workshops. The scope of work includes lecture delivery, equipment installation, demonstration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This is a combined instruction and hands-on role involving delivering lectures, working closely with faculty and students in laboratories and workshops, setting up laboratories for experiments, and maintaining supplies and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Membership to a relevant internationally recognized professional association is desirable.
• Training certificates or diplomas in workshop practices are desirable.
• First Aid qualification is desirable.
• A completed apprenticeship leading to certification in a professional trade is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Preference given to candidates with industrial experience in the relevant engineering field.
• English proficiency is essential; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Advanced computer literacy to integrate technology in the workplace is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Previous short-term teaching experience is desirable.
