LAB TECHNICIAN

Dynamic GYN/ Surgical office located in Kew Gardens seeking PART TIME PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN. SATURDAYS ARE A MUST. Day off during the week. MUST BE CERTIFIED IN CPR AND PHLEBOTOMY.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sterilizing instruments
• Perform venipuncture/vitals.
• Handle lab specimens and requisitions
• Assist medical providers.
• Interact with patients and provide care
• Multitask with the ability to problem solve.
• Computer experience a plus
• Fluent in Spanish a must
• Medical background a must
• Assess patient's medical history.
• Advise physicians or other health care professionals about patient care issues

Presently work days would be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The salary range is $20-$22 per hour and is competitive for the position based on experience.
