Thermal Transfer Label Printing Operator / Graphic Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our label printing operation.

This position involves operating thermal transfer label printers, preparing label layouts, and ensuring printed labels are accurate and professional. Ideal candidate has some experience with label printing, Photoshop, or graphic/layout software.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal transfer label printers
• Prepare and adjust label layouts
• Use Photoshop or similar software for basic design edits
• Verify barcode readability, alignment, colors, and print quality
• Maintain organization of files and print jobs
• Follow detailed work instructions carefully
• Perform quality checks before production release

Requirements

• Attention to detail is extremely important
• Basic experience with Photoshop or graphic layout software
• Comfortable working with computers and printers
• Understanding minimum of PC network connections
• Able to follow instructions accurately
• Good organizational skills
• Printing or label experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person

Position Details

• Full-time
• Located in Chula Vista, California
• Pay based on experience - No experience starts on $19 per hour
• Candidate will be working as independent contractor or freelancer
