Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle employment law compliance documents and wage/hour audits.
  • Draft and review employee handbooks and related compliance materials.
  • Represent clients in employment law defense and litigation matters.
  • Manage cases proactively from inception through resolution.
  • Provide legal counsel on class actions and PAGA claims.
  • Defend school districts and public entities in employment-related disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Employment Law experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of employment litigation, defense strategies, and compliance.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Superior written and oral communication abilities.

Preferred:

  • School district defense experience.
  • Public entity defense experience (a plus).
  • Trial experience (preferred but not mandatory)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
