Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employment law compliance documents and wage/hour audits.
- Draft and review employee handbooks and related compliance materials.
- Represent clients in employment law defense and litigation matters.
- Manage cases proactively from inception through resolution.
- Provide legal counsel on class actions and PAGA claims.
- Defend school districts and public entities in employment-related disputes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of Employment Law experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD).
- Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of employment litigation, defense strategies, and compliance.
- Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Superior written and oral communication abilities.
Preferred:
- School district defense experience.
- Public entity defense experience (a plus).
- Trial experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
