Job Summary:
Experienced Geologist and Geotechnical Specialist with over 10 years of expertise in managing and executing geotechnical investigations, laboratory operations, and construction materials testing within engineering consulting and construction sectors. Extensive experience in supervising field and laboratory activities, implementing quality management systems in compliance with ISO 17025 standards, coordinating drilling operations, and preparing technical geological and geotechnical reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and operate geotechnical and construction materials laboratories in accordance with approved standards and specifications.

Supervise soil, concrete, aggregate, and rock testing activities and analyze technical results.

Implement and monitor quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and auditing requirements.

Supervise geotechnical drilling operations, borehole logging, and soil/rock stratification profiling.

Prepare geotechnical and technical reports, including foundation and soil improvement recommendations.

Coordinate field and laboratory activities with project teams, consultants, and clients.

Prepare technical and financial proposals for geotechnical investigations and material testing projects.

Supervise calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure operational readiness.

Interpret geotechnical test results including SPT, sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, and soil classification.

Develop work procedures and improve operational efficiency in laboratories and field operations.

Train and supervise technical staff and monitor team performance.

Apply occupational health and safety requirements and manage project-related risks.

Utilize specialized engineering and geotechnical software including Gint, Geosystem, ArcGIS, and Surfer for data analysis and reporting.

Maintain accurate technical documentation to support quality assurance and audit requirements.

Provide technical support and consultation related to foundations, soil improvement, and geotechnical investigations.
