Laboratory Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to manage day-to-day laboratory activities, ensure quality standards, and support a productive and compliant work environment. The Lab Supervisor will coordinate with technical staff, maintain equipment, and ensure that all testing and reporting meet regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and ensure timely completion of tests.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Monitor lab personnel performance, provide guidance, and conduct training.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and quality control procedures.
• Ensure safe laboratory practices and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with management to optimize workflow, resources, and productivity.
• Assist in preparation of reports and documentation for clients and management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in laboratory operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, testing procedures, and ISO standards.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate between teams.
• Experience with lab equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
