Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, parks, and public facilities
• Operate basic equipment such as mowers, trimmers, shovels, and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Perform street cleaning, debris removal, and landscaping to keep public spaces safe and attractive
• Support water, sewer, and storm drain maintenance activities by digging trenches or assisting with inspections
• Respond promptly to work orders and safety requests from supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects
• Conduct routine inspections of city property to identify repair needs or safety hazards
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor manual labor
• Reliable transportation to reach different job sites around the city. Valid Driver's license required.
• Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal maintenance is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
