Job Description of- Labour Law Expert/ Lawyer
Experience - 3 to 10 year
Education : LLB / LLM (with Labor Law experience preferred).
Language – English, Marathi & Hindi (Marathi typing will be added advantage)
Job Description: -
We are hiring an experienced Labour Law Expert to manage statutory compliance, labour documentation, and legal requirements as per Shop & Establishment Act and other Indian labour laws.
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance under Shop & Establishment Act (working hours, leave records, registers, inspection handling).
- Managing PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages compliance.
- Drafting legal letters, notices, employee contracts & HR policies.
- Handling labour inspections, audits, and employee dispute cases.
- Supporting disciplinary procedures, domestic enquiries & statutory reporting.
2. Labour Laws Compliance
- Complete compliance for:
- Factories Act / Shop & Establishment Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Contract Labour Act
- PF & ESIC
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Maternity Benefit Act
- CLRA
- PoSH Act compliance support
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers & returns.
3. Drafting & Documentation
- Draft employment contracts, HR policies, appointment letters, warning letters, disciplinary notices, domestic enquiry notices, etc.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports to labour departments.
- Draft responses to legal notices and handle court-related documentation.
4. Labour Inspections & Dispute Handling
- Handle labour officer inspections and provide clarification/documentation.
- Manage employee disputes related to termination, salary claims, misconduct, grievances, etc.
- Support in domestic enquiries, investigations & disciplinary procedures.
5. Audit & Training
- Conduct internal labour law compliance audits.
- Train HR & Managers on labour law requirements, sexual harassment law, safety compliance, and grievance handling.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of the Shop & Establishment Act.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws & statutory requirements.
- Experience attending government inspections.
- Excellent drafting, communication & negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance tasks independently.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

- Theur, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
