<div><p>The Lactation Consultant assists and assess patients with breastfeeding while making daily rounds. Will evaluate patients who have problems breastfeeding and develop feeding schedule/plan with the pediatrician, bedside nurse and mother.
</p><p><b>Qualifications
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field required; Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
</li><li>International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required
</li><li>American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required
</li><li>One year working in acute care setting with breastfeeding mothers; Baby Friendly facility preferred</li></ul></div>
