Lamination Operator/Sr. Operator

• Key Responsibilities
• Operate solvent-based / solvent-less lamination machines as per production plan.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of lamination processes (solvent-based/solvent-less).
• Familiarity with different films: PET, BOPP, CPP, Nylon, PE, AL Foil, etc.
• Ability to identify and resolve lamination defects.
• Understanding of adhesive types and mixing procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments.
• Ability to read job orders, technical specs, and quality parameters.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Set machine parameters such as temperature, speed, tension, coating weight, and adhesive ratios.
• Prepare and load raw materials including films, adhesives, and cylinders/rollers.
• Conduct machine start-up, shutdown, and changeovers efficiently.
• Monitor lamination quality, bonding strength, and appearance during the run.
• Ensure proper mixing and handling of adhesives as per specifications.
• Inspect output rolls for defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, delamination, uneven coating, etc.
• Maintain production records, log sheets, and report deviations or machine issues.
• Coordinate with QC for in-process checks and ensure compliance.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the lamination area (5S).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,700.00 per month

Experience:

• Lamination Operator (Solvent Base): 5 years (Required)
