Landscape Architect and Planner (2 plus years exp)

Overview
Join our Growing team as a Landscape Architect and Planner, where creativity meets strategic planning to shape inspiring outdoor environments. In this role, you will lead the design and over see development of landscape/hardscape projects, Your expertise will help transform ideas into tangible, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that enhance communities and natural surroundings. We are seeking energetic professionals passionate about landscape architecture

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, and Civil 3D, ensuring projects meet client specifications and regulatory standards
  • Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and visualizations utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Conduct site analysis incorporating GIS tools like ArcView and ArcGIS to assess land features, topography, soil conditions, and existing infrastructure
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, horticulturists, and construction teams to integrate sustainable design principles into project plans
  • Oversee project phases from initial concept through construction documentation, including estimating costs for hardscape elements such as paving, fencing, and irrigation systems
  • Coordinate land surveying activities to ensure accurate site data collection and compliance with land use regulations
  • Assist in landscape maintenance planning to ensure long-term sustainability and health of outdoor environments

Requirements

  • Proven experience with landscape architecture software including SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD platforms
  • Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects, hardscape installation, irrigation systems
  • Ability to produce detailed drafting documents and construction estimates with precision
  • Understanding of horticulture practices and sustainable landscape design principles
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Knowledge of civil engineering concepts relevant to site development and land planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
