Landscape Construction & Lawn Care Crew Member

Nature's Edge is a growing lawn care and landscape construction company serving New Paltz, Ulster County, and the Hudson Valley. We're built on a simple idea: do it right the first time. Our clients pay us for the value we bring — clean work, sharp attention to detail, and crews that show up ready to go.

We're hiring for **two separate positions**. When you apply, let us know which role you're going for (or if you're open to either).

**POSITION 1 — Lawn Care Crew Member**

What you'll do:

- Operate commercial mowers (zero-turn and walk-behind), trimmers, edgers, and blowers

- Maintain residential and commercial properties to a high standard

- Edge driveways, walkways, and beds cleanly

- Blow off all hard surfaces — leave every property cleaner than we found it

- Keep equipment maintained and the truck/trailer organized

What we want:

- 1–2 years lawn care or landscaping experience

- Comfortable operating commercial mowing equipment

- Eye for detail and clean finished work

**POSITION 2 — Landscape Construction Crew Member**

What you'll do:

- Install hardscapes: patios, walkways, retaining walls, stone work

- Install French drains, dry wells, and other drainage solutions

- Mulching, planting, bed prep, and grading

- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and hand tools (training available)

- Load/unload stone, pavers, soil, and plants

What we want:

- 1–2 years landscape construction, hardscape, or general construction experience

- Experience with pavers, retaining walls, or drainage work a big plus

- Detail-oriented — straight lines, tight joints, clean finished product

**Required for Both Positions**

- Valid driver's license (clean record a plus)

- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather

- Reliable transportation to our shop in New Paltz

- Strong work ethic — show up on time, ready to work

- Team player who takes pride in the finished product
