Job Overview
Ardent Landscape is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team as Landscape Technicians I & II. In this role, you’ll help create, maintain, and enhance high-quality outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties.
This is a hands-on position with opportunities to grow your skills and career in the landscape industry. Whether you’re just starting out or already have landscaping experience, we’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and are motivated to learn and grow.
Landscape Technician I positions are ideal for entry-level candidates eager to learn the trade, while Landscape Technician II positions are designed for individuals with prior landscaping or construction experience who can work more independently. Both positions work under the supervision of a Crew Leader as part of a collaborative field team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform lawn care services including mowing, edging, aeration, fertilization, and weed control
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming, mulching, and seasonal cleanup
- Support landscape installation projects such as sod, plantings, irrigation, drainage, patios, walkways, and other hardscape features
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with irrigation system installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Load, unload, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
- Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail on every project
QualificationsLandscape Technician I
- Landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding tasks
Landscape Technician II
- Prior experience in landscaping, irrigation, hardscaping, or construction preferred
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, planting, grading, or hardscape installation
- Ability to work independently and assist crew leaders when needed
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred
