Job Overview
RSLA is seeking a detail-oriented freelance landscape drafter or designer to support production of planting plans, irrigation plans, and construction details. This role is focused on technical drafting using AutoCAD + Land F/X, with clear direction, sketches, and redlines provided by the Landscape Architect.

This is not a full-time design position, it is a flexible, production-focused drafting role ideal for someone who enjoys technical CAD work and is seeking ongoing contract hours.

Duties

• Draft planting plans, irrigation plans, diagrams, and details using AutoCAD + Land F/X
• Translate sketches, notes, and redlines into accurate plan sets
• Follow established CAD templates, layers, and standards
• Prepare polished DWG and PDF sheets for client, city, or HOA submittals
• Maintain organized files and communicate progress clearly

Skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Land F/X
• Understanding of landscape construction documentation
• Ability to create clean, legible drawings that follow established standards
• Experience with rendering software (SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop) is a plus but not required

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
