Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves assisting with various landscaping projects, maintaining lawns and gardens, operating tools and equipment, and supporting landscape construction and maintenance tasks. Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Support landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system setup and repairs, and snow plowing during winter months
• Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and construction equipment like excavators under supervision
• Conduct routine landscape upkeep such as weed control, mulch installation, and soil preparation to ensure high-quality results
• Assist with tree care activities including planting, pruning, cabling, and removal using appropriate techniques and safety procedures
• Support the installation of irrigation systems and perform general gardening tasks to promote healthy growth

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment enhances performance on the job
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction machinery safely and effectively
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape design is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and construction

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
