Landscape Laborer

Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators for planting, grading, and hardscape installation
• Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilizing, edging, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Support tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote safety and beauty
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient water use across landscapes
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
• Strong work ethic with the physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation, tree care, irrigation systems, and general garden maintenance is a plus
• Willingness to learn new skills related to snow plowing, tree trimming, mowing, and landscape construction
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
