Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and landscape shaping
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including tree trimming, pruning, and snow plowing during winter months
• Operate equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery to assist with site preparation and hardscape projects
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, ensuring safety standards are met at all times

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, horticulture or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lawn care equipment and irrigation systems is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
• Basic understanding of construction practices related to landscape installation and maintenance
• Experience with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning is advantageous
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
