Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, shrubbery trimming, and garden bed upkeep
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and installing features like patios or walkways
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and assisting with system adjustments
• Help with general site cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance to keep work areas safe and organized

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision
• Experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree trimming, mowing, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols at all times
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in construction and landscape care
• Valid driver’s license is required
