Duties

• Assist in landscape installation and maintenance, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, mowers, blowers, and excavation equipment to complete various tasks efficiently
• Perform lawn care activities like mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system setup and repair, and snow plowing during winter months
• Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working with machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools effectively
• Experience in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control is desired but not required.
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques encompassing gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and horticulture principles
• Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions with the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary

Clean driving record and active license required.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
