Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation including planting, grading, and hardscape work such as patios and walkways
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks like edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, planting, or installing irrigation systems
• Maintain equipment including blowers, trimmers, excavators, and other machinery through proper care and routine inspections
• Help with horticultural activities such as soil preparation, fertilization, watering schedules, and plant health assessments
• Contribute to tree care efforts including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
• Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance
• Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
• Experience operating landscaping machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques will help you excel in this role
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Strong attention to safety procedures when handling power tools, hand tools, or heavy machinery
