Overview

Jabco’s Custom Lawn Care LLC, located in Bellefonte, is a growing company seeking full-time Landscape and Light Installation Technicians to join our team.

Our crews work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts depending on weather and scheduling needs.

This is an entry-level position with opportunities to grow within the company. While 1–2 years of experience is preferred, we are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Job Description

This role involves physically demanding outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions. Technicians assist with landscape maintenance projects and professional lighting installations for both residential and commercial properties.

We offer competitive starting wages of $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, edgers, and other maintenance tools

• Perform landscape maintenance including pruning, mulching, bed edging, trimming, and seasonal cleanups

• Assist with lawn renovations including seeding, aeration, and soil preparation

• Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials such as mulch, soil, stone, and plants

• Maintain clean and organized job sites and assist with daily equipment and vehicle preparation

• Install professional-grade Christmas lighting, landscape lighting, and permanent lighting systems

• Safely climb ladders and assist with securing lighting displays on homes, buildings, trees, and landscape features

• Help troubleshoot lighting displays to ensure systems operate properly

Qualifications

• Enjoy working outdoors and have a strong work ethic

• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Details

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
