Full-Time Landscape & Maintenance, II
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team in maintaining a private estate. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to take pride in preserving a beautiful, well-managed property. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, experienced in landscape and facility maintenance, and has a genuine appreciation for outdoor work.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Maintain all lawns, trees, gardens, and shrubbery through regular mowing, edging, fertilizing, and seasonal care
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and maintain safety
- Upkeep of parking areas, including trash removal, weeding, sweeping, and general facility cleanliness
- Maintain equipment, lighting, and perform general repairs and preventative maintenance as needed
- Identify and report horticultural-related problems such as pest infestations, disease, erosion, or drainage issues
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in accordance with safety regulations and best practices
- Perform seasonal tasks including leaf removal, snow and ice management, mulching, and planting
- Monitor and operate irrigation systems to ensure appropriate watering schedules
- Support event preparation and cleanup as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture, turf management, and plant care preferred
- Ability to safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions
- Full-Time 32-40 hours per week with potential for seasonal variation
- Primarily outdoor work across a large acreage property
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
