Landscape Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Landscape Professionals to join our team as team members and leaders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor maintenance, horticulture, and landscape design. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, maintaining outdoor spaces, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The Landscape Professional will contribute to creating beautiful, functional landscapes for residential and commercial clients, utilizing a range of tools and techniques.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces well-groomed
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely
• Use machinery like excavators for larger construction or landscaping projects
• Install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
• Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed
• Apply horticultural practices to promote healthy plant growth and garden aesthetics
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients
• Perform general maintenance tasks to uphold the quality of landscapes and outdoor facilities
• Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects involving construction or landscape redesigns

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools
• Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, and tree care techniques
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures preferred
• Strong understanding of landscaping principles including hardscape installation and garden design
• Excellent hand tool skills for trimming, planting, and other manual tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety compliance

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
