Landscape Project Foreman

This hands-on role supports a wide range of residential landscaping services, from routine yard maintenance to larger outdoor improvement projects. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, can communicate in basic Spanish (preferred), and is dependable, hard-working, and comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality
• Ensure the crew is efficient, accurate and completes all projects to our high level of standards
• Monitor progress daily and make decisions regarding the production of the job
• Learn and train new skills
• Work alongside crew on projects ranging from routine yard maintenance to larger projects such as sod installation, drainage systems and retaining walls
• Monitor inventory and equipment
• Effective and friendly communication with clients
• Ensure the crew is following safe work practices
• Enforce job site rules

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and backgrounds
• Ability to manage a crew of 3+ individuals
• 2+ years experience building hardscapes, retaining walls, irrigation systems and other aspects of landscape construction
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and how to operate them, including heavy equipment
• Willingness and ability to train and develop employees
• 2+ years experience managing a team is not required but preferred
• 1+ years experience with irrigation system installation is not required but preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to drive a truck with a trailer
• Basic Spanish communication (preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional weekend or extended hours depending on project deadlines or weather conditions.
