Starting Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM on average

About the Role

As a Landscape Steward, you’ll help shape, maintain, and restore the natural beauty of one of Oregon’s most scenic neighborhoods. From parks and trails to streams and urban forest areas, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that keeps our community healthy, sustainable, and vibrant.

Whether you’re planting native trees, caring for ornamental gardens, restoring habitats, or maintaining irrigation systems, you’ll take pride in meaningful, hands-on work that connects people and nature.

What You’ll Do

  • Care for community parks, trails, and green spaces through sustainable landscaping practices.
  • Plant, prune, and nurture native trees, shrubs, and pollinator-friendly plants.
  • Support stream restoration, erosion control, and other ecological projects.
  • Maintain and install irrigation systems and use modern tools like GIS and Rain Bird software.
  • Operate landscape vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with your team to keep our shared spaces thriving all year round.

Who You Are

  • You have education or experience in horticulture, arboriculture, or landscape maintenance, or simply a passion for learning about them.
  • You enjoy physical, outdoor work and take pride in doing it well.
  • You’re reliable, adaptable, and comfortable using technology and tools.
  • You’re 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a record of safe driving.
  • You bring a positive attitude and want to be part of a community-focused team.

Certifications, including CPR/First Aid and Flagger training, are a plus!!
