Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, planting bed preparation, and general upkeep
• Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements
• Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and weed control to maintain lush green spaces
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency for diverse landscapes
• Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as excavators, lawnmowers, trimmers, and other machinery to ensure longevity and safety

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed management
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques encompassing pruning, planting, irrigation systems, and horticulture principles
• Skilled in operating hand tools (shovels, rakes) as well as power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessment
• Understanding of hardscape installation processes like paving stones or retaining walls for durable outdoor features
• Ability to perform gardening tasks with attention to detail and aesthetic quality
• Experience in snow plowing operations during winter months for safe access during adverse weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and project support

Pay: $50.00 - $230.49 per day
