Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools and power equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to complete various groundskeeping tasks efficiently
• Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other construction elements to ensure safety and visual appeal
• Implement irrigation systems installation and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules for all landscaped area.
• Support general maintenance tasks such as soil preparation, gardening projects, and minor construction work as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping, groundskeeping or related outdoor maintenance roles
• Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and construction machinery like excavators
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and garden management
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively when required
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with attention to safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward landscape maintenance projects
