Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns.
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with precision and care.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, pruning, trimming, and general landscape maintenance.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows to assist with construction projects or seasonal clean-up.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Install irrigation systems and perform regular checks to ensure proper watering and water conservation.
• Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and tools.
• Proficiency in lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Experience with gardening, horticulture principles, and plant health management.
• Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, as well as power tools safely.
• Knowledge of tree care including trimming, pruning, and disease prevention.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter months efficiently.
• Good understanding of construction processes related to outdoor hardscape projects.
• Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
