Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews, ensuring tasks such as planting, lawn care, pruning, irrigation installation, and general maintenance are executed effectively.
• Oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish, including site preparation, planting, hardscaping, and tree care.
• Maintain high standards of safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
• Manage equipment and materials inventory, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly maintained and available for team use.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
• Communicate project progress with clients and management clearly and professionally.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies related to horticulture, irrigation systems, gardening practices, and landscape maintenance.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance fields.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, horticulture practices, irrigation systems, and tree care.
• Hands-on experience with landscape construction projects such as hardscaping or site development is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with equipment operation and maintenance relevant to landscaping tasks.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
