Position Overview:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graphics Design & Laser Engraving Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing artwork and operating laser engraving equipment to produce high-quality awards and recognition products. This role bridges creative design and hands-on production, requiring strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. This position has limited interaction with customers and instead works closely with production and sales teams to translate artwork, logos, and text into properly formatted designs for engraving and to execute production efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare, edit and format customer-provided and in-house artwork for laser engraving

· Set up and operate laser engraving equipment in accordance with production specifications

· Ensure correct layout, sizing, spelling, alignment, and material selection prior to engraving

· Perform test engravings as needed to verify accuracy and quality

· Inspect finished products for quality, consistency and adherence to order details

· Troubleshoot basic engraving or artwork issues and escalate complex problems as needed

· Maintain organized digital files and production documentation

· Follow production schedules and prioritize work to meet deadlines

· Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to resolve order questions or design issues

Qualifications:

· Proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Illustrator)

· Ability to work with vector and raster files and convert artwork for engraving

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with names, dates, and formatting

· Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment

· Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications

· Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a production environment
