Laser Technician

Key responsibilities

• Perform treatments: Conduct laser hair removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures.
• Client consultations: Assess client needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and explain procedures.
• Equipment operation and maintenance: Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain laser equipment to ensure it is safe and effective.
• Client safety: Ensure client comfort and adherence to all safety protocols during treatments.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of client information, treatment details, progress, and aftercare instructions.
• Post-treatment care: Provide clients with detailed post-treatment instructions and follow-up as needed.
• Infection control: Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Stay updated: Keep current on the latest laser technologies and techniques.

Qualifications and skills

• Certification: A diploma or certification in laser technology or aesthetic therapy is often required.
• Experience: Proven experience in performing laser procedures is necessary.
• Technical knowledge: Understanding of laser technology, safety protocols, and skin anatomy.
• Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Attention to detail: Ability to accurately document information and follow procedures meticulously.
