Lash Technician/Esthetician/Cosmetologist

Duties

• Perform eyelash extension applications, lifts, tints, and other eye-enhancement treatments with precision and care.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable eyelash styles or treatments based on their eye shape, lifestyle, and preferences.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance.
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Educate clients on aftercare instructions for eyelash extensions and other treatments to promote longevity and satisfaction.
• Upsell complementary services such as brow shaping, makeup application, or skincare products to enhance client experience and increase sales.
• Demonstrate product demos for lash care products or new beauty treatments to engage clients and boost retail sales.
• Stay current with industry trends in eyelash extensions, lash lifts, tinting techniques, and other esthetic innovations through ongoing training.
• Engage actively with clients via social media management to promote services, share before-and-after photos, and build a loyal community.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk and provide exceptional guest services from check-in to check-out.
• Assist with general salon duties including inventory management of lash supplies, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting other esthetic services like dermabrasion or body waxing when needed.

Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in cosmetology or esthetician licensing with specific experience in eyelash extension application or related beauty treatments such as lash lifts or tinting. Prior experience working in a med spa environment or with advanced esthetic laser treatments is highly valued. Familiarity with salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY is preferred for seamless appointment scheduling. Excellent communication skills are essential for understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations. A background in retail sales or upselling techniques will help maximize revenue opportunities while ensuring client satisfaction. Knowledge of sanitation protocols, dermal fillers, dermabrasion procedures, hair threading, nail care, body waxing, makeup application, hair styling—including hair extensions—and other esthetic services will be considered advantageous.
