Laundry Aide

Greenbriar Nursing Center in D'Iberville is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of residents' rooms, common areas, and offices.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials.
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness is maintained in all areas.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Respond to residents' requests and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of infection control practices is a plus.
