Laundry Aide (Full-Time) - Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to join our team at Brighton Place Spring Valley. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in keeping a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Position Summary

The Laundry Aide is responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing resident clothing, linens, towels, and other facility laundry items. This position plays an important role in supporting resident comfort, infection control, and overall facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and sort resident clothing and facility linens
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated facility areas
• Properly label, separate, and handle resident personal clothing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room
• Follow infection control practices, including proper handling of soiled linens
• Report damaged clothing, missing items, equipment issues, or supply needs to the supervisor
• Operate laundry equipment safely and according to facility policy
• Assist with maintaining adequate linen supply for nursing units
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior laundry, housekeeping, or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry laundry throughout the shift
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and respect for resident belongings
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Schedule

• Full-time availability required
• Weekend availability may be required based on facility needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
