Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces
• Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with professionalism and attention to detail
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing tools, is advantageous
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with a proactive attitude towards maintaining hygiene standards in a hospitality setting

Pay: $12.00 per hour
