Laundry Attendant

Job Description

Our team is looking to add a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant / Laundry Person to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of hotel linens, towels, and laundry items. To be successful in this role, you will need strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties:

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report items needing replacement
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Sort laundry according to type, color, and cleaning requirements
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and laundry supplies
• Monitor inventory levels of linens and report shortages as needed
• Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution and supply needs
• Follow hotel safety procedures and sanitation standards
• Perform additional housekeeping or laundry-related duties as assigned

Skills:

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry supplies and linens
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and willing to assist other departments when needed
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
• Holidays as needed
• Day shift / Evening shift availability preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
