Duties

• Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
• Handle special cleaning requests such stain removal with precision and care.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed to support overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services, cleaning, or hotel operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple loads efficiently during busy periods.
