Laundry Attendant

We are now seeking a laundry attendant to join our team! We are looking for part time laundry person shifts can very from 10 am to 6 pm or night laundry from 6 pm to finish, other days will vary.

The laundry attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding and distributing all soiled linen and towels. Keeping room tidy!

Physical requirements

• 8 hours
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of lifting, carrying, pulling and moving objects
• Ability to stand entire shift

General requirements

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Must be effective at listing to, understanding and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels and rags
• Sort all hotel linen accordingly
• Pre-treat all stained linen before washing
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment
• Fold towels and linen
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
• maintain clean work area

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
