Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to maintain lush, healthy grass and plant life.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to execute maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and installing or repairing hardscape features like patios or walkways.
• Carry out seasonal tasks such as snow plowing in winter months to ensure safe access and pristine outdoor conditions.
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote growth and safety.
• Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and maintaining flower beds for aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and mechanical checks to ensure safety and optimal performance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating landscaping machinery such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools.
• Proven expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques covering horticulture principles, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation.
• Ability to perform construction-related tasks related to landscaping projects with attention to detail and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with snow plowing operations during winter months for year-round outdoor maintenance.
• Excellent understanding of gardening practices including planting, pruning, soil preparation, and pest management.
