Responsibilities

• Mow turf using riding mowers, or other power tools to ensure even and attractive grass coverage
• Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to maintain proper shape and health
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, mulching, and planting to enhance curb appeal
• Operate heavy machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation or hardscape installation
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot lawn care equipment and power tools effectively
• Strong understanding of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles
• Experience with landscaping projects including hardscape installation and garden design
• Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and saws for various gardening tasks
• Ability to operate larger machinery like excavators for construction or site preparation purposes
• Knowledge of irrigation systems maintenance to ensure efficient water distribution
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail in landscape trimming, tree care, and overall site cleanliness
• Ability to follow safety procedures when handling equipment or working around construction sites

Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour
