Job Summary

In this energetic position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping and lawn care tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools such as mowers and trimmers to ensure even and healthy grass coverage
• Perform landscape maintenance including edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to promote plant health and visual appeal
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and soil preparation
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinklers to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Assist with hardscape projects such as installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate equipment like excavators and hand tools
• Provide tree care including trimming and pruning to promote safety and growth while adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and small machinery safely and effectively
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy materials when necessary
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of property appearance
• Valid driver’s license preferred for operating equipment or transporting materials
