Duties

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure pristine grass and landscape appearance
• Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, soil preparation, and hardscape setup
• Conduct tree care activities like pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate equipment
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth
• Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, inspection, and basic mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening roles
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant health management
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks
• Familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators for larger landscape projects
• Understanding of construction practices related to hardscape features like patios or walkways
• Experience in tree care including trimming and pruning techniques
• Excellent maintenance skills for equipment upkeep and minor repairs
• Good physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
