Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to achieve precise, attractive grass lengths.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment like shovels, rakes, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently.
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering and plant health.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming and pruning to promote safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
• Maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining landscaping machinery and hand tools.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening environments.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation (e.g., patios, walkways) and horticulture practices.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely when needed for construction or landscape projects.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
• Skilled in the use of power tools for various landscaping tasks with attention to safety protocols.
