Responsibilities

• Mow and trim residential properties weekly
• Operate:
• Zero-turn mowers
• Stand-on mowers
• Push mowers
• Trimmers
• Edgers
• Backpack blowers
• Perform spring and fall cleanups
• Monitor properties for lawn health concerns, damage, pests, or disease
• Perform routine equipment care and cleaning
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Assist other divisions with larger landscape projects when needed
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a team

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 2 years of professional lawn mowing or landscape maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently while following directions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 60+ lbs consistently
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Commitment to safe equipment operation and job site safety
• Ability to obtain or maintain DOT medical certification

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with zero-turn and stand-on mowers
• Experience pulling trailers or operating commercial mowing setups
• MA Pesticide Applicator License
• Experience with lawn repairs, cleanups, or landscaping work
• Snow removal experience
• Ability to identify basic lawn health concerns, pests, or property issues

Compensation & BenefitsPay

$22–$28/hour based on experience and licensing

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Typical Peak Season Hours:
• 7:00 AM – 3-4:30 PM
